Scrap the grease off of the felt with a plastic spoon and toss it away. Then gently sprinkle baking soft drink or cornstarch on the grease tarnish. Enable it to rest for 15 minutes or so, then vacuum it up. Swab the spot with a damp towel to clean it the rest of the way.
