| Bio: | The coastline is backed by high cliffs and a row of beach huts with delicately sloping sands that make it family pleasant. The south-west coastline is mainly unaffected and an assigned location of superior all-natural charm. Freshwater Bay as well as Alum Bay are preferred beaches-- both are close to The Needles, chalk stacks at the island's westernmost point.
